Big Horn Mountains, Wyoming

Geologic upheaval about 300 million years ago created this "hog back" located in the front range of the Big Horn Mountains in Northern Wyoming. Elevation about 7,000 feet. The rocks in these ancient mountains consist of igneous, sedimentary, and lime stones. Wild life abounds: deer and bald eagles most abundant.
